"Jurassic Park" Author Michael Crichton Dies of Cancer

"Prolific novelist and "ER" creator Michael Crichton has passed away. He was 66. Perhaps best known for being the author of Jurassic Park and its sequel The Lost World, which were turned into a hugely successful movie franchise, his numerous books have sold over 150 million copies worldwide."This really sucks, he's one of my favourite sci fi writers. I was obsessed with Jurassic Park when I was younger and I remember the novel being one of the first "adult" novels I read. I don't agree with his ideas on global warming but he wrote some great entertaining sci fi/thriller type stuff with a mix or real science sprinkled in.If you haven't read any of his books I would consider checking them out.
